Your account
You need a Google account to sign in. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Accounts are for adults; if you are creating stories for a child, the account is yours, not theirs.
Credits
Storyclover is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. You buy a pack of credits and spend them as you generate illustrations. There is no recurring charge and nothing to cancel.
- Planning a story costs 5 credits. One page illustration costs 5 credits, and repainting a page costs 5 credits. Read-aloud narration costs 1 credit per story.
- Editing text, editing prompts and exporting are free.
- A failed generation is refunded automatically and appears in your credit history.
- Credits have an expiry date, shown on your billing page.
Generated illustrations expire after 30 days
Illustrations you generate are stored for 30 days and then deleted. This is stated on the pricing page, in the studio and on the export screen before you spend anything. Download the PNG bundle for anything you want to keep. We are not able to recover an expired illustration, and an expired illustration is not grounds for a credit refund — the credit bought the generation, which you received.
What you make is yours
You own the stories and illustrations you create here and may use them personally or commercially. We claim no ownership over your work. Note that AI-generated images may not be copyrightable in some jurisdictions; that is a matter of law, not of these terms.
Stories in the public library are ours and are provided for reading. You may read them and use them as a starting point for your own story. You may not redistribute them as a collection or resell them.
Acceptable use
Storyclover exists to make stories for children. Do not use it to generate sexual content, content depicting the abuse or endangerment of children, hateful content, or content designed to deceive or harass. Do not attempt to generate images of real identifiable people. We may suspend an account that does any of these.
Generated content is not guaranteed
Story plans and illustrations are produced by machine learning models. Output quality varies, and a given generation may not match what you had in mind. Credits spent on a generation you received but did not like are not refundable. Credits spent on a generation that technically failed are refunded automatically.
Refunds
If something goes wrong with a purchase — you were charged twice, or credits did not arrive after a successful payment — email [email protected] and we will sort it out. The billing page also has a Sync button that resolves most missing-credit cases immediately.
Changes and availability
We may change these terms; material changes will be reflected in the date at the top of this page. We do our best to keep the service running but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
