The Donkey Wears a Lion Skin

A donkey scares everyone in a lion skin until his loud bray gives him away.

The whole story

1. At sunrise, a small gray donkey searched for something grand to wear.

2. Near the meadow path, the donkey found a golden lion skin.

3. The donkey slipped inside the lion skin and lifted his head high.

4. A brown rabbit saw the lion shape and hid behind a bush.

5. A red fox saw the lion shape and crouched behind a stone.

6. Soon, every animal kept far away from the proud lion.

7. Then the donkey opened his mouth and gave a loud bray.

8. The animals heard a donkey, and the lion skin fell away.

9. The donkey stood in his own gray coat, and everyone came near.
