The Moon Followed Me Home

A child is convinced the moon is following the car, and decides it just wants to make sure she gets home safe.

The whole story

1. Mina climbed into the car after supper.

2. The moon sat beside her window.

3. When the car turned, the moon turned too.

4. Mina hid behind Rabbit, but moon stayed.

5. Across the bridge, moon crossed the river.

6. Mina whispered, "Moon, why follow me?"

7. Mama smiled at the road ahead.

8. Then Mina held Rabbit closer.

9. The car stopped at Mina's house.

10. Moon waited above the porch light.

11. Mina nodded and went inside.

12. Moon only wanted Mina home safe.
