The Dolphin Bubble Ring That Became a Toy

The whole story

1. On a bright morning, a young bottlenose dolphin practiced making bubbles above the reef. He shaped his breath into a tiny shining ring.

2. The ring was round, bright, and almost too beautiful to touch. He nudged it with his snout, and it wobbled away.

3. He wanted to catch it. But when he rushed, the ring stretched thin and vanished.

4. The dolphin settled above the sand. He tried a softer breath, then a shorter one. The bubbles changed shape.

5. He breathed just enough air and held his head very still. This time, a wide ring appeared.

6. The ring stayed together. It looked like a toy made from air.

7. He slipped his snout through the hoop and chased it around the reef. The toy spun away, and he followed.

10. At last, he chased a ring and caught it in one smooth loop. The bubble toy burst into sparkles around his face.
