3. Next, Raincoat tried to be a tablecloth. Its sleeves dangled over the edges, and the spoons rolled into its pockets.
4. Then Raincoat tried to be a picnic blanket. Its hood made a bump, and its sleeves curled into little hills. The sandwiches slid into the grass.
5. The days stayed bright. Raincoat hung on its peg while sunhats, kites, and picnic blankets enjoyed the outdoors. One sleeve drooped all the way to the floor.
6. At noon, Mina carried Raincoat to a sunny meadow for a picnic. Then a gray cloud covered the sun, and rain began all at once.
7. Mina pulled Raincoat from the basket and spread it across the damp grass. Its wide yellow body made a dry place for her knees and her lunch.
