3. Inside, the living room became a tiny kingdom. Mira chose Queen of Maps, and Theo chose Keeper of Keys.
4. Then the roof sagged. Mira said, “I need the long cushion.” Theo said, “I need it for the throne.”
5. They pulled the cushion toward themselves. The fort groaned softly, and the roof dipped lower.
6. Mira stopped pulling. Theo stopped pulling. For one quiet second, they heard the kingdom creak.
7. “The roof needs the cushion,” said Mira. “The throne can be two pillows,” said Theo. They made a plan.
8. Mira held the roof high. Theo slid the cushion underneath. Together, they clipped the loose corner.
9. The roof rose again. The door stood straight. The kingdom had room for two rulers.
10. Mira opened the door. Theo bowed. Then both rulers squeezed onto the throne, because the best kingdoms are built together.
